Set up the round
How the round plays. The sentences themselves come from the set. Kept on this device.
Letters to collectSmall letters: a, b, c in order. Big and small: A, a, B, b.
LettersWhich letters this round. After each group the learner can carry on or finish later, and next time starts where they stopped.
SpeedHow fast the drop moves through the channels. Storm balls keep the same pace relative to it.
Slips allowedA slip is taking a word too early: the next word is "the", but the drop swims into "biggest". After this many slips the sentence starts again. Off: slips cost a few points but never restart the sentence.
Storm ballsPast halfway through a sentence a storm ball comes out, sometimes two. If one catches the drop, the last word goes back into the water.
